We are always trying new techniques

A customer of ours needed to put their logo on each wheel but needed them to be permanent. We were able to use high temp vinyl and after a few attempts, used powder clear coat right over their vinyl logo. This allows the wheel to be cleaned and used without worrying about the decal coming off.

World Class Powder Coating

HIGH PERFORMANCE FINISH

The durability of powder coating is attributed to the creation of solid “anchor patterns” and the incorporation of fusion-bonded properties.  After abrasive blasting, the powder will integrate into the metal during the curing process, thereby interlocking the coating and the substrate. The resulting bond handles, bumps, abrasions, and impacts significantly better than wet coating applications. That is why powder coating is the preferred coating technique for on and off-road motorsports.

Powder Coating

Powder coating is a high-quality finish found on thousands of products you come in contact with each day.  Powder coating protects the roughest, toughest machinery as well as the household items you depend on daily.  It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an awesome finish.  Powder coated products are more resistant to impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. This reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues.

 

Ceramic Coating

PMSD only uses Cerakote brand ceramic coating. Cerakote can be applied to everything from firearms to headers to a beverage tumbler.

 

Custom Metal Fabrication

PMSD has in-house fabrication capabilities, if we can’t provide the perfect end product, we are partnered with the best fab shops in San Diego.
